Ah, its all systems go at home, granny always has most of the Christmas dinner done before the actual day, so as i speak the ham is cooking-let me tell you It. Is. Gorgeous. (yes i described the ham as gorgeous..i have a problem, i know!)
But a tradition of ours is that my mam, and her two sisters that eat here for Christmas always come up on Christmas Eve and prepare the veg...this year my granny wants to do it all herself! I know it's her house and all but its something we do every year and this year is going to be particularly difficult so why add to the mess?? Anyway i told one of my aunts on the DL and she tell granny not to do it herself as her 11-year old grandson wants to help (a bit of emotional blackmail never hurt anyone, right?!)
I'll let you in on one of my secrets (one of many!) if you promise not to laugh. I have a great interest in photography, but i dont think im that good at it!! I like to photograph landscapes, and at the moment here it is a winter wonderland...brilliant for my photos. Pity my batteries are dead!! Anyway last night i submitted some pictures to a stock site, the pictures are of a nature reserve we have in the county. If you wondering what a stock site is, it is a site that you upload your pictures and if the meet the right standards they will accept it in the site Then anyone looking for certain pictures will buy them for use for their own site or what ever. Ill show you what i mean, i took this picture of my dog in the lake, if someone wants a picture of a dog, or a dog swimming or anything else thats in the picture, they can buy a copy from me, to put in a magazine about dogs or whatever. You get the picture (no pun intended)So i think thats all in my head at the moment, im enjoying a granny-free time now do i think i'll hold on to it while it lasts! :D
